These terms and conditions will be deemed to have been accepted by you when placing an order with Ellie and Liv and shall prevail over any other document or communication.
Once your booking for studio time has been placed with a £50 deposit (deducted off final payment) Ellie and Liv will contact you to discuss designs. Once payment of a deposit of £50 has been received your order will be considered placed. You have a 48 hour cooling off period, if you cancel within this time 95% of this deposit is refundable. If you cancel your order after the 48 hours the deposit is non-refundable.
A second payment of £150 for the Bespoke Design Service will be requested after the agreement of your design and quote. This payment is non-refundable if your order is cancel.
Discussion of your bespoke designs will take place after the payment of the £50 deposit.
We recommend you order a few extra invitations in case of last minute guest changes or any mistakes made whilst writing out names.
A second payment of £150 for Bespoke Design Service is required after design and quote approval. Remaining balanced on quote will be required after final design approval before the design is sent to print and delivered. A second deposit of £50 is required to book studio time for any further ‘On the Day’ items. The £50 will be deducted off final payment of ‘On the Day’ items.
It is your responsibility to ensure that payments are made to the correct account as stated on our quote and correspondence. Payments must be made in a timely manner. In the event of late payment, the lead time will be pushed back accordingly.
Once you have made the payment you are deemed to have understood and accepted these terms.
Lead times for ‘On the Day’ items is approximately four weeks from receipt of final balance payment. You must therefore send payment of deposit and details for ‘On the Day’ items a minimum of four weeks before your Wedding date.
It is your responsibility to ensure that information for ‘On the Day’ items is supplied to Ellie and Liv at the correct time. Ellie and Liv shall not be responsible for contacting you to ask for this.
All information must be supplied in either via sent digital order form, Office Word or Excel four weeks before your wedding day to guarantee the delivery ‘On the Day’ items in time for the event. Ellie and Liv cannot be held responsible for any typing errors or incorrect information supplied.
For urgent orders, a quicker delivery timescale may be agreed. In such circumstances, the lead times above shall not apply.
Delivery charges are included in prices quoted.
The Lead Times quoted above and any delivery estimate given is an estimate only. On very rare occasions, delays caused by a 3rd party delivery agent or delays in obtaining materials from suppliers may cause the estimated delivery date to be pushed back. Ellie and Liv cannot accept responsibility for this, but will keep you informed of progress.
Ellie and Liv cannot guarantee delivery on any particular date. If you require stationery to arrive on a particular date we will do our best to arrange the delivery accordingly but cannot guarantee this.
To allow us to put together ‘On the Day’ items in plenty of time, and avoid problems in the case of any delay by a 3rd party delivery agent, we require you to send us the information for this stationery (e.g. guest list/menu details) a minimum of four weeks before your Wedding date. If we receive the information after this deadline, we cannot guarantee that your items will be delivered in time for your Wedding.
If you require your ‘On the Day’ items before your Wedding date, you must inform Ellie and Liv of this a minimum of four weeks before the date that it is required, and ideally at the time of ordering. If you send us all required wording and approvals in accordance with the timescales above, Ellie and Liv guarantees that your stationery will be sent on a service that ensures that they arrive before your Wedding date. However, cannot be liable for any subsequent delays on the part of a 3rd party delivery agent.
IMPORTANT: Ellie and Liv cannot be responsible for delays in delivery due to circumstances out of our control, such as postal strikes or adverse weather conditions. Ellie and Liv shall not be liable for any losses, damages or expenses incurred by the customer arising out of any delays in delivery or damage
or loss during transit. If there is a problem you will be contacted immediately and we will do our best to overcome this.
If you are situated locally personal delivery or collection can be arranged on request.
Ellie and Liv cannot be held responsible for any typing errors that go unnoticed after the proofs have been approved. If items need to be reprinted due to your error it will be treated as a new order and charged accordingly. Once confirmation/approval is received, no alterations can be made.
Printing of your wedding stationery may begin immediately after the information/guest list is received, and therefore no amendments can be accepted after such information is sent to Ellie and Liv.
It is your responsibility to get permission for any copyright material, for example hymns or poems that may feature in your stationery.
Any defects or errors with goods must be reported to Ellie and Liv by email within 48 hours of the goods being received by the customer. After 48 hours, the goods will be deemed to have been accepted by you.
In the event that the error reported is a typographical error by Ellie and Liv (i.e. it differs from the guest list or wording supplied by the customer) Ellie and Liv shall replace the item(s) affected. In these circumstances you may be required to return the item(s), in original packaging, if requested to do so by Ellie and Liv. Ellie and Liv will either arrange for the package to be collected by a courier or shall ask you to return it by Royal Mail and reimburse you for the postage cost. Replacement items shall be sent out as soon as possible.
IMPORTANT: Reprints or refunds will not be made if the goods contain errors but are as ordered by you. It is therefore vital that you ensure that the information and guest names given to Ellie and Liv are correct. Ellie and Liv accepts no responsibility for checking your spellings and is not responsible for running a spell check on stationery wording.
In the unlikely event of a complaint Ellie and Liv must be notified in writing within 7 days of you receiving your order. No claims will be accepted after this period. Refunds or exchanges can only be given where goods are found to be faulty or the specifications of the order have not been met.
Quotes remain valid for a period of six months from the date on the quote and shall not be affected by any price increases during this period.
Ellie and Liv endeavour to work with you to provide wedding stationery that suits your budget. A full bespoke service will cost from £150 which includes a consultation, research, design, proofs and up to two amends to the design.
If you like an existing design but would like to adapt it to suit you then this will cost £30 instead of full bespoke service of £150.Simply changing the colour of an existing design to suit your wedding theme is FREE of charge.
Ellie and Liv reserves the right to add your design or elements of it to our range of wedding stationery after your wedding date.
Computer screens do not show an accurate representation of colour so you may find slight variations on the final printed product. Print colour may also vary slightly when orders are printed at different times. We cannot guarantee that if you order any other stationery at a later date that the production colour will exactly match your previous order.
We reserve the right to substitute materials for similar products should materials become unavailable, however we will always inform the customer if we need to substitute a product for one that is significantly different to the one pictured/described on our website.
All stationery designs on our website are the sole property of Ellie and Liv, and shall not be copied or reproduced in whole or in part, whether for business or personal use. Any infringement of copyright of our designs shall be vigorously pursued and will result in legal action.

All images and text on this website are the property of Ellie and Liv (unless otherwise credited) and must not be copied or reproduced without prior consent. Ellie and Liv reserves the right to use images of your stationery on our website.
It is your responsibility to obtain the correct copyright permission for hymns, readings or pictures to be included in their stationery. You agree to indemnify Ellie and Liv against any action for breach of copyright of such items.
In such circumstances Ellie and Liv shall use reasonable endeavours to perform its obligations as soon as is reasonably practicable but accept no liability to compensate you for any loss or inconvenience arising from such delay or failures described above.
You are responsible for performing a final check of names and details on stationery before items are used or sent out to guests. It is your responsibility to ensure that invitations are sent to the correct guests. In some cases this will involve removing a band from around the invitation.
Once stationery is received by you, it is your responsibility to ensure that it remains in good condition. Stationery should be stored flat where possible, and in any event must be stored in a dry environment at room temperature.
